Olea Dental d.o.o. is the controller of your personal data and determines the purposes and methods of processing. We ensure all security measures required by GDPR and Croatian regulations.

We do not operate as part of a dental group, nor do we share patient data with associated clinics or laboratories unless legally required or explicitly requested by the patient.

2. WHICH DATA WE PROCESS, HOW, AND FOR HOW LONG

A) When you contact us as a potential patient

To schedule an appointment or respond to your inquiry, we collect:

  • ·        Phone number

If you voluntarily send us dental images or X‑rays or other relevant information, we process them strictly for the purpose of assessing your dental condition. If you decide not to proceed with the appointment, we permanently delete all your personal data.

B) When providing dental services

During examinations and treatments, we are legally required to collect and store:

  • ·        Data on your dental health

  • ·        Medical history relevant to dental treatment (chronic illnesses, allergies, infections, anesthesia‑related specifics)

  • ·        Treatment records and patient chart

  • ·        Dental photographs taken during treatment phases (stored exclusively in your patient file)

We store your patient file for 10 years after treatment completion, in accordance with Croatian healthcare regulations. Older records may be archived.

All members of our team are legally obligated to maintain professional confidentiality regarding your health information.

We may be required to provide access to your data to:

  • ·        Competent judicial authorities

C) Billing and accounting

For issuing invoices, we process:

D) Video surveillance

E) Job applications

When you apply for a job, we collect:
